A real story · Web design and local SEO

Laura’s story: a project we built together.

I already knew how Laura worked and what she believed in. She knew her profession better than anyone. By listening to each other, revising the details and moving forward step by step, we built a website that feels like her and now helps new patients find her.

It did not begin with a brief. It began with trust.

Before I built her website, I was one of Laura’s patients. I had experienced her care, the way she listened and the philosophy behind her work. So when the opportunity arose to help her build an online presence, we were not starting from scratch: I knew the person behind the practice and understood what made it special.

Laura did not have a website. Her practice grew through personal care and the trust of her patients, but there was nowhere for someone who had just discovered her to understand what she offered or how to contact her. We wanted to create that space without losing what made her approach personal.

It became a genuinely collaborative project. Laura reviewed and refined every piece of copy I prepared. She explained her treatments, corrected terminology and added context whenever something could be expressed more accurately. I listened, organised the ideas, designed the site and shaped its structure so it would be clear, fast and easy to understand.

We did not launch the website and forget about it. We published a first version and kept refining it together. Sometimes the change was a single sentence; at other times we explained a service more clearly or reorganised a page. Every correction had the same purpose: to help visitors see the Laura I already knew as a patient.

At the same time, Laura made a real effort to gather genuine reviews from her patients, because nobody can describe an experience better than someone who has lived it. I focused on SEO, local search and the continued improvement of the website. Each of us brought our own expertise, and the project grew through that collaboration.

Today Laura has a website she likes and recognises herself in, and people are finding it. It is not simply a page I handed over: it is the result of our conversations, her careful revisions, her work to gather genuine reviews and an SEO process we continue to refine.

Since the launch, Laura has seen a substantial improvement in her business and receives enquiries almost every day. Seeing the website help her connect with new people is one of the most rewarding parts of the project.

Her visibility in local searches has improved through continued work on the website and its content. Results vary, so we keep monitoring them without promising fixed positions.

For me, the best part is that it began with me as her patient and became a project we shared. She brought her voice, experience and commitment. I brought design, development and SEO. The website carries something of both of us.

An improvement Laura notices in her day-to-day work

Statistics change over time, and I do not want to fill the website with figures or jargon. Detailed results are available on request.

What made the collaboration work

A website does not grow on its own.

01 / CONTENT

Knowing her before designing

As a patient, I already knew how she worked and what she stood for. That allowed us to begin with something real instead of inventing a brand image.

02 / DESIGN

Copy, dialogue and revisions

Laura corrected and refined the copy, explained what I did not know and reviewed every detail until it represented her treatments accurately. We learned and improved it together.

03 / REVIEWS

Reviews that describe real experiences

Laura took an active role in asking her own patients for feedback. That kind of trust cannot be manufactured; it is earned through her daily work.

04 / SEO

Design, SEO and continued improvement

I turned all of that into a clear website, improved its presence on Google and kept refining it in response to the results.

No magic formula

Every improvement brings us closer to the right people.

Laura’s story shows what a business can achieve when we work as a team. Every project starts from a different place: we agree what to improve, make the changes and follow the results so the work can keep moving forward.
